Camp cook
1930's

Vivian "Nig" Power, one of Louis Power's sons, stands at the back of his camp wagon on the open prairie on the O'Connor Melon Creek Ranch. Cooking tools are visible on the shelves of the open chuck box. Cooking pots are on the campfire in the background.

Notes: Vivian Power was the son of Louis Power, the legendary foreman for the O'Connor Brother's Ranches. Louis was very light skinned as was his son Vivion.
